hey i applied to boarding schools and i got in! but its in connecticut. well the person above has some really good schools. when u apply, u can check financial aid needed. then u have to do all these separate documents aside from the application forms and those include stuff like how much ur parents make per year and stuff. the school usually gives scholarships to minorities and african american or latino or native american people, but if you're really smart and they want u, yeah they'll give u lots of scholarship. they look at essays u write and the ssat scores (www.ssat.org) which are the tests that they require u to take. activities help too. volunteer at hospitals and do other school service or community service and join many sports teams and choirs and musicals. if you're really good at conducting, places like phillips academy andover look for student-conducters if they lose one. student-athletes are another way to get scholarships. u have to be captain and get mvp and do really well at a sport and athletic boarding schools like northfield mount hermon school will grant u an athletic scholarship. hope that helps.
